RESEARCH PAPERS

sANS17020 BUNDLES
The SAIOH Support Templates for SANS17020 are available. Please visit the SAIOH STORE on the SAIOH website to purchase your template.

The SANS 17020 support documentation template system provided by SAIOH is designed to help smaller service providers to populate the required Quality Management System (QMS) documentation. The template system should reduce the time required for the purchaser to generate a large portion of the required documentation which will identify how they operate their business.
Many of the documents provided are related to the practice of Occupational Hygiene in the field, whilst others relate to various administrative and quality based requirements.
The attached Index identifies the main content and fit for the documents in the SANS 17020 template document system offered.

You will be able to identify Manuals, Plans, Procedures and Checklists and how they relate to each other. The majority of this documentation is available and ready for launch, however we have identified a few more important documents which we feel would enhance the present set of documents. These are identified in Green in the index and we will ensure that any belonging to the bundles purchased would be forwarded to you once they are ready at no additional cost.

The SAIOH templates have been designed at entry level for AIA service providers. The templates simply set a baseline to ensure required and appropriate information and records are provided. As each end user will have variability’s in their present systems, methodology, recording and service provision, this system can only provide guidance and hopefully save you some time in the early stages of document preparation.

It is important that the user of this system understand that the templates, manuals, plans and checklists provided are for guidance and to help you to populate your own system. They are not a complete QMS system and quality system guidance and understanding is still required.
A guidance document with step by step instructions on modifying the various documents is provided in the core package – bundle 1.

The journal's objective is to keep occupational health practitioners current with the latest research, especially African research. The journal is accredited by the Department of Education, and articles are peer-reviewed before publication. Occupational Health Southern Africa is published alternate monthly (six issues per annum) and offers good value for the subscription cost.
