Invitation to the Workshop on the Draft Regulations for Hazardous Chemical Agents

 

The Department of Labour will be hosting workshops on the recently published Draft Regulations for Hazardous Chemical Agents during November. The draft can be obtained from:

The Draft Regulations For Hazardous Chemical Agents were published by the Minister of Labour for comment on 14 September 2018. A period of 90 days to submit public comments is afforded. Kindly note that this draft includes ONLY a review as in so far the inclusion of GHS (Globally Harmonised System for Classification and Labelling of Chemicals) and updated OEL and BEI’s. Please restrict your comments and inputs to those areas only.

The Workshops will take place in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, there are only limited seats available at all the venues.
