Theme: “Heat Stress and Welding Fume” Objective/ or Goal: To have an open discussion investigation on the sampling methodology, laboratory analysis, sampling media and reporting on the results as per the legislative requirements and to come to a conclusion on the best way of measurement. The Programme could be as follows: Session 1: “Heat Stress management” Objective/ or Goal: Getting back to basics, the origin, and the effective and correct use of the WBGT index, latest research, identification of Heat Stress illnesses and treatment there-of. Including a Q&A session. Presenter: Schu Schutte Session 2: “Welding fume and different type(s) of sampling media” Objective/ or Goal: To have an open discussion and investigation on the sampling methodology, laboratory analysis, sampling media and reporting on the results as per the legislative requirements and to come to a conclusion on the best way of measurement.
